About Us.
Red Electric Industry is a Queensland electrical contracting business operating primarily in the Eastern suburbs of Brisbane, on the East side of the Gateway motorway. Much of our work is between Murrarie, Wynnum, Capalaba and Cleveland.
We focus mainly on industrial control, boating and small ship electrical systems. Domestic works are not in our repertoire.
We don’t maintain a workshop or a lot of stock as this is not conducive to the need to work mostly at our customers' premises.
Dave, the business owner, has been a licenced electrician for 30yrs. He holds various state electrical licences, workplace machinery licences, instrumentation qualifications and ACMA cablers licence. This in itself doesn't prove proficiency, however, we hope our completed works and reputation count as much as the list of current qualifications.
Dave has experience in switchboard construction, industrial control systems, HMI & PLC wiring and commissioning, 'Category' Estop & safety systems, VFD & motor control systems, legacy serial data systems, water bore pump systems & control, water & sewerage pumping works, cardboard industries, automated production lines, entertainment industry lighting and systems, domestic works, FIFO, boat and small ship electrical systems with integrated ac & dc controls and various other fields.
Capability Statement
Marine works on boats, marinas, generators, area & nav lights, bilge pumps & control systems. Experience with generator synchronising on small ship systems. Boat system repairs and modifications.
Industrial works, eg, industrial machinery and appliance breakdown & repair. Three phase safety & test n tag, industrial switchboard and control gear build, modification, repair. Switchboard BOM preparation and ordering, plan reading, interpreting, schematic logic checking.
Standard 3 phase plug & socket works, cee-form, powerlock, marechal etc.
Onboard tools: standard electrician hand , battery & power tools, megger & other test gear, hydraulic crimper, hydraulic busbar bender, small sheet press and more.
